    Is this PSU strong enough for the following?

    Hi All do you think this PSU will be sufficient for the below specs?

    I want the use the following PSU for the following

    550w PSU corsair CS550M - was reviewed here (i've cut up the link since it doesn't let me post it)
    hexus.net/tech/reviews/psu/62841-corsair-cs-modular-550w

    4770K - no OC
    770GTX - no OC (or possibly one of those stock OC cards)
    2xSSD and 1x Normal HDD
    4 case fans

    Easily. You have 516w on a single 12v rail. Plenty of headroom for some overclocking as well. Silly to get a 4770k and not clock it.

    Does anyone thing it'll run well with the R9 280x. I have pretty much the same specs otherwise.

    It will be enough for any single card set-up (maybe not a dual gpu card like the 7990 or 690) and still leave room for overclocking.

    Thanks, thought so. Won't be running a dual set up anytime soon.
