It has a top OEM (based on the Seasonic X series psu's) and Jonnyguru says it's good (by his tests it's not Platinum though) so that would be good enough for me apart from one thing. The problem for me is the price as the Seasonic X850 that it's based on is actually a tenner cheaper and is fully modular. Seems to be better in reviews too. A further £9 gets you the platinum version of the Seasonic which is where my money would go.

Jammy git. Congrats. If it's better than what you have fit it and then you can let us know how it is. People probably aren't buying it because there is so much choice around at that psu size and price, plus the Seasonic that it's based on is cheaper. There's also Superflower available in the UK now and taking a big chunk of the market.

Haven't got the latest Dark Power Pro 10 850w, but I do have six Be quiet psu's from 500w to 850w, all must be nearly 8 years old now, they have been superb, no fan whine from any of them despite their age, can't fault them, highly recommended.

I bought one (from Scan actually) and it had loud coil whine, I'm sure that was a one off of course but I did return it and ended up buying a different unit.
