XFX TS 750W Fully Wired 80+ Bronze Power Supply !! Reviews are very good for this but is this still a good PSU for my rig or any other modern system ?
I don't know where Ebuyer get their information from but that's not a TS. For a start the TS series are Gold rated and the manufacturer ID P1-750S-NLB9 says that it's a XFX Core Edition Pro Series 750w Bronze rated psu. It's still a decent unit made by Seasonic but it's in no way a TS. It's not a bad price though as Scan has the same model at £70.50.
Looks to me like XFX have rebranded the old Core editions as TS series.
Although, as usual, it's f***ing difficult to keep up with XFX when they change branding around, so I don't know yet what they have done.
Dabs have the P1-750S-NLB9 at £58.99 currently, as does Amazon.
Amazon lists it as having first appeared in 7 Oct 2010.
XFX lists this model# as the Bronze version (lower efficiency) of their current TS 750W offerings.
i have owend 2 xfx pus's and both have been solid and yes they are made by seasonic.
There is no lower efficiency version. There are only 3x TS models, 550w (P1-550G-TS3X), 650w (P1-650G-TS3X) and 750w (P1-750G-TS3X) and all are gold rated. There are a pair of XTS units of 460w (XPS-460W-XTS) and 520w (XPS-520W-XTS) but they are both platinum.
The model number P1-750S-NLB9 is a XFX Core Edition Pro Series 750w Bronze rated psu and nothing else. The piccy and specs in the Dabs link you posted clearly shows that.
That depends where you look.

It feels like the TS nomenclature is being realigned to the current full wired range and XTR to the current modular range.
The RealHardTechX psu database hasn't been updated with the new TS and XTS models yet that's how I missed the others. It still doesn't change the fact that the part number is for a 750w Core Edition though and Ebuyer should change the wording to reflect that. Wonder how many people have bought that from Ebuyer thinking they are getting a better psu that it actually is?
