Question CoolerMaster G650M: Will it work?

    Hi folks,

I'm putting together a new rig and had a small snag with the power supply, which is faulty and needs replacing, so is due to go back.

In the meantime, I have a Coolermaster G650M power supply (coolermaster.com/powersupply/modular-gm-series/g650m) lying around, and i'm here to ask for advice whether it would be able to work with the following new build for the time being:

    CPU: Intel i5 4670K
    Motherboard: MSI Z97 PC Mate
    RAM: 2x 4GB Corsair Vengeance Pro 2133Mhz
    GPU: Sapphire Vapor-X Radeon 280X
HDD: Western Digital Blue 1TB 7200RPM
CPU Cooler: CoolerMaster Hyper 212 Evo
Case: Zalman Z3 Plus (w/ 5 case fans)

One DVD drive, keyboard and mouse, and an Xbox 360 wireless adapter.

No overclocking would be done on this PSU, so just looking for some confirmation and opinions. Better safe than sorry.

    Thank you for your time.

That PSU seems to be reasonably well built and 650w is comfortably enough to run that system.

Hi and welcome to the forums.

Your psu has 624w on the 12v rail and I doubt if your pc would pull more than 250-280w at full load so you have loads spare for overclocking should you wish to do so.
