Finally decided to ditch Sky as we only really watch the documentary channels (History & Discovery), Gold, FOX and Living.
So this morning decided to sign up to BT's services as monthly it will work out £22 cheaper than the current Sky subscription for everything (£77 on Sky - £55 on BT).
Now I have added the Essential Extras package for £7 per month which has Discovery, History and the likes but can't find out if this is actually live yet even though it is advertised and what I have signed up for. Found an article on Gizmondo showing off live versions of these channels dated January but it was someone doing a trial of the live broadcast stuff and slated for official summer release and date I have found is August 1st.
So question, does anyone else have this service and give me a few straight answers, can't find anything on the net.
Is Discovery, Gold, FOX & History currently running as live broadcast either over internet streaming or via PVR on BT or are they currently still On Demand services ?
