    Is that you Gordon?

Look at the 1y, starting with EDF energy, as i use them
    http://finance.google.com/finance?q=EPA%3AEDF
    Centrica (British Gas)
    http://finance.google.com/finance?q=LON%3ACNA

    See a pattern?

The energy supply companies are getting hammered, as base fuel prices are going up.

Now when you look at the oil/gas companies, their all practically operating at full capacity, they can't produce more, it would be unfair to supply people at a price less than the going rate wouldn't it? So these companies aren't able to reduce their prices.

Now why do i get so upset about the government, they've not been making hay whilst the sun's been shining. They need to heavily tax fuel, for revenue, and they've got no where to go.

I wonder if that would work here in the U.S. too...sounds like a darn good idea, my friend!

Alternatively we could attach a turbine to the windows in the Houses of Parliament and watch them spin round from all the hot air that many politicians are letting off...

I say that if it's taken that long for you to realise that Gordon Brown sucks you must be living inside a cardboard box with no contact to the outside world.

I do disagree with the country part though. The country is good.. the rulership isn't.

They still took us to court as the paperwork was sitting in an office somewhere not even looked at and now we have to foot the extra court costs due to them not doing their job right. We contacted them about this and they just wern't bothered at all.

Going to have to contact the court on this one now to see if we can get it sorted. My guess though is that what is done is done tough.
Same is happening to me, 2 days over the payment date and they have sent me a letter saying if i dont pay the whole year in full then they are taking me to court,

Going to ring them later, thing is over the last 2 months they have failed to empty my bin twice and i have never phoned them complaining, think i will start changing my stance on this now though.

    /seriously angry right now .....

Everythings going up that we need but apparently luxury goods are all down amazingly. R.E. energy bills there are lots of new inventions coming to help decrease the cost like a car that does 240mpg for £15000 and solar balloons which make the power output of solar pannels increase hundredfold.

    He's a tory.

Taxed the poorest more - I paid LESS tax while poor people paid more.

PFI - we are selling off our land and assets to loan sharks just so the debt would be hidden from the govts books. That was the only way they can meet his financial golden rule.

Tories have never gone as far as to tax the poorest more.

Also the poster girl or the tories never once tried to hide away her goals or the consiquences. Hence why as many people who were rioting against her, where singing her praises!

Try and sign up for a social tariff.

BG are supposed to put anyone who previously had winter rebate from them automatically onto the essentials tariff

    This taken from their site

Our aim is to offer our lowest standard gas and electricity prices, which have been otherwise inaccessible to people who don’t have a bank account. British Gas customers who registered for the British Gas Winter Rebate scheme will automatically be moved onto the Essentials tariff
