Oh, and be aware that if you go down that formal complaint route, it'll effectively kill press coverage while it's being dealt with. It is a quasi-legal process, and there's a detailed procedure for what can and can't be done or said while it's in hand. So consider whether you want to formally poop-stir like that, or just use the media route.

Well it should be on the radio Newcastle iPlayer, I will be checking it out when I get home. Apparently he was on between 8:30 and 8:40 this morning.

Anyone having issues with iPlayer listen again radio shows that you listen to 20 mins worth of audio then it kicks off saying it cant connect to the media anymore :/ Does this on real alternative and real player. Will have a listen to the show when I get in from 8 - 8:40 and see if anything is said.

It certainly is. A time slider would be better. I think it's important that G4Z actually gets the audio along with a script of exactly what was said before any further action. Then it would be wise to sit back and digest it before any continuation because he is now "emotionally" involved (as are we to some extent) and that can lead to errors of judgement due to hastiness. This is potentially serious so best to get the facts before continuing.

I'm currently listening from 8.00am onwards - nothing from 8.00 - 8.05. First mention of talking to Clelland is 1hr 37min 30secs into the show. At 1hr 48 mins 25secs the discussion starts and Mr Clelland is on the line at 1.49:15 into the show - 8.19 am.

Listening now.

Edit: Interview with Clelland ends 1.53:20 into the programme after a Lib Dem agrees with Clelland.

Your advise is sound and I would not have went into a radio interview blind. As you say I am invested in this a bit now, I need to keep some distance and make sure I keep the focus on the issues rather than how much of a twat Clelland is.
