    New Ivy Bridge Gaming Build

Coolermaster 690 II Advanced NVIDIA Edition Black/Green (Anyone know why there are 2 versions of this on SCAN and they appear to be the same but 1 costs more?)

600W PSU, Coolermaster Silent Pro M Modular

MSI Z77A-G43 (Good enough for overclocking? Alternatives at around this range?)

    8GB (2x4GB) Corsair DDR3 Vengeance Jet Black

    Intel Core i5 3570K Retail

Antec Kúhler H2O 620 CPU Watercooler

    128GB Crucial RealSSD M4

Thats it all from SCAN as they are the cheapest for the parts I require after a bit of research.

Mainly want to know if it's going to get me a easy to do overclock.
Suggestions/advice really aimed at the case, any other case I can get in green and black, fit the cooler I want and fit an existing HD5850 Sapphire Toxic video card.

Thanks in advance for the suggestions.

The Sharkoon Tauron might be a decent case for your Black & Green theme.

I just looked at the Scan website and the prices for both units are now the same, so I put the two side by side for a comparison.

It looks like one of the cases might be a later revision, there are differences in the number of drive bays, the number of fan bays varies as well as one has provision for up to five fans while the one I prefer has space for eight and this also ships with 1x120 plus 2x140mm fans instead of 1x80 and 2x140mm. There are also very slight differences in dimensions like an extra 0.5mm width and 0.2mm less for depth but I doubt you'd be able to tell. This does mean you lose three drive bays to make space for the extra fans, but eight drive bays would be enough for me.

Build is good, but the motherboard won't be able to overclock much without breaking it. All I'm worried about is the mosfets, they don't have any heat sinks making them really hot therefore lowering its lifespan. Also, get an air cooler instead, it will perform much better at that price point.

    Hmm any recommendations for board?

Ditto for an air cooler, just liked the look of the water cooling, nearly all the same sets look the same and can't see any reviews/comments elsewhere saying they have died.

Dam guess someone from SCAN spotted this Thanks for the extra information though...couldn't see that initially unless that got updated too.
