I'm not too sure about the cooler yet. It seems cool, but I don't know if I really want to overlock. Since this is my first build it might be better to wait.

Other than that, this is intended for heavy gaming and some video editing.

Very nice PC, looks like a very strong PC for gaming and editing but must have set you back quite a bit!!

I see what you mean about the cooler, since I've had the same cooler and from my experience it wasn't the best when it came down to overclocking but that could just be down to the airflow of my case, you should try experimenting with overclocking under load and see what the temperatures are like.

Right now I have a Noctua DH-15 and I couldn't be more happy with it!

Very nice build! I like the AIO myself and if you don't want to overclock then buy some quiet fans (Corsair SP120 quiet editions?) and have a quiet system.

Or you might dabble in a bit of overclocking. A quick bump in multiplier will do for a simple OC.

suggest the samsung pro over the evo. Some folk unhappy with degrading performance and loss of data if not routinely powered on EVOs

The data degradation affected the 840 Evo, not the 850 Evo. The latter uses a different variety of NAND, which isn't affected by the slow-down issues of the 840 Evo. The 850 Evo also has the same 5 year warranty as the 850 Pro...

You could always wait a month for Skylake CPUs & new chipsets to be released...socket 1150 is basically a dead-end now, so if you want to 'future-proof' your build for a year or two, waiting might be worthwhile. Or prices on socket 1150 CPUs might drop once Skylake is released, if you haven't already bought the components. The choice of components is otherwise pretty solid IMHO.
