    New Gaming Rig

This is what I have narrowed it down to, but any advice would be great.

My budget is about ~£800 for the rig, then about £200 on a monitor
Obviously saving money on an equivalent, or spending a little extra on a much better part is okay too.

    Any help would be appreciated,
    thanks

Are the ones without prices bits you've already got?

I'd probably go for an R9 390 with that monitor budget, I think the G-sync monitors are still £250+ which discounts nVidia cards that don't support DisplayPort Adaptive Sync ('freesync').

You're spending quite a lot there on case/PSU/motherboard which are areas with fairly small benefits, consider whether you'd rather spend the money elsewhere. You could easily go for a Skylake system for a slightly saving if you swapped to a different white windowed case and power supply.

I would not buy that PSU: http://www.overclock.net/t/1431436/w...y-a-corsair-cx

    I would also consider a Skylake CPU+mobo.

I don't think a single-fan AIO CPU Cooler is worth the expense. I would go 2/3-fan or an Air Cooler.

You could get a cheaper decent HDD.

When do you intend to buy it, i recommend w8 for deals if you are going for haswell chip and mobo because the new skylake and its almost Christmas. Also i personally will go for higher budget mobo ( i am aslo buying a new rig atm and i am aiming at the Gigabyte UD5H BK for £112.76 at scan currently) and lower budget case but again it is just personal opinions.

I agree with EndlessWaves that the R9 390 is the probably the way to go.

I made a few changes that should give a decent amount more performance for a little less money.

I probably would go with what jigger has suggested since you can get this monitor too:

    https://www.overclockers.co.uk/showp...d=17&catid=510

Its a £200 FreeSync monitor with adjustable stand and can do upto 160HZ too.

    Edit!!

Scan are a bit cheaper too:
