Have you chosen a case yet? How much are you looking to spend on one?
You'd be looking along the lines of an i5-6600, GTX 960 4GB, 480GB SSD, Windows 10, 8GB or 16GB of either DDR3-2400 or DDR4-2666 and a 300-400W PSU
what bout the Corsair CC-9011047 ?
I dont have a particular target price for each component, my target price is more for the whole rig
The Obsidian 250D?
I'm not a great fan of that sort of mammoth mini-ITX case personally. I don't see the logic in having a less capable and more expensive motherboard because it's small and pairing it with a case big enough to take the biggest available example of every other component. That case is larger in volume then many Micro ATX cases.
Whatever floats your boat though, it's entirely your choice.
Sure, but on a £700 budget when the average component price is only £100 an extra £50 or £100 spent on one component can have a big knock on effect. So it helps to pin down the personal choice bits - primarily the case - so you can avoid the budget being pushed too far.
Heres what i have for the moment, what do you guys think ?http://www.amazon.co.uk/registry/wishlist/21XBVXBNTFIR7
You did choose not very best PSU, I would pick something from tier one or two plus for GTX970 you need at least 500W,
you can have a look on build I am currently getting you will not get that processor and you will like to get different motherboard, but if you save a little bit on a hard drive you can get spend more for Mother Board and CPU.
You don't need a 500W PSU for a 175-200W graphics card unless you're also going for a very power hungry CPU (FX-9000 or something overclocked).
120GB is a little on the small side for OS and program storage, I'd consider a 240GB drive.
I don't know why the i5-6600 is so expensive at the moment. Amazon had it for £155 a few days ago.
You'll need a 100 series motherboard with an LGA1151 socket, the H81 board listed there won't work with that processor.
I'd go for windows 10. No reason not to really.
Go for a 2x4GB DDR3-1866 memory kit. It only makes a little difference but for the sake of a pound or two it's well worth having:

Case-wise that's still a pretty large case, for example compare it to Silverstone's SG11 Micro ATX case:
Node 304: 250 x 210 x 374 mm, 19.7 litres
Sugo SG11: 270 x 212 x 393 mm, 22.5 litres
And that would allow you to save £10-20 on the motherboard and get a couple of extra PCI-Express slots in the bargain.
The case is less than an inch larger in two dimensions, but fits common mATX motherboards instead of the less common (and more expensive) mITX only.
As EndlessWave has pointed out, the motherboard in your wishlist isn't compatible with the processor, so you'll have to change one of those. If you go for the mATX case you probably wouldn't notice an extra inch here or there, but you will find much easier to pick a compatible motherboard.
Ok thank you i put the new case on the list, which motherboard would you recommend ?
You might be better checking out pc specialist website, they do builds for a good price, and you can't go wrong, they only show compatible items.
I checked, none of them really suits me.
I've updated my basket, what do you think? http://www.amazon.co.uk/registry/wishlist/21XBVXBNTFIR7
How about CM Elite 110 or Silverstone Sugo SG13B-Q?

Liking the look of the Node 304
I have a mini-ITX rig currently - any reason it has to be a Nvidia card??
Also with a Xeon E3 1230 V2 and a GTX960 I am lucky to see 200W to 250W at the wall!!
