Red face Please help me pick out PC parts (i5-6600K + GTX 1070)

    Hey guys!

Could you help me pick out PC parts, please? I need pick out a motherboard, a CPU cooler, a power supply and a PC case. I am ready to spend no more than 205 euros. Expensive PC case isn't necessary for me.

    Components

    • CPU: Intel Core i5-6600K — 205 €
    • GPU: Palit GeForce GTX 1070 Dual — 386 €
    • Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws V 16GB DDR4 3000MHz — 63 €
    • HDD: WD Blue (WD10EZEX) — 42 €
    • Monitor: BenQ XL2411Z — 226 €

In the future, I plan to overclock a CPU and buy an SSD.

I'll be ordering PC parts on Computeruniverse (computeruniverse. ru/en/).

    Thanks!

Assuming you're not wanting to run water-cooling and what-not, then:

This looks like a no-frills case with plenty of ventilation, €30:

Decent cooler that'll support overclocking, €17:
    https://www.computeruniverse.net/en/...-pwm-rev-2.asp

    400W PSU, €41:

    MSI 7170, €116:

All fairly generic parts, without any specific requirements, this should do the job outlined and more.

I'd strongly recommend throwing at least a small SSD for the operating system onto that list. It makes such a huge difference in performance that I'd even suggest cutting back on the CPU, using the stock heatsink, going with a B150 motherboard, and halving the RAM to fit it into your budget.
