OK to remove Asus Express Gate?

    Hi Scannies

Received my system last week and overall very happy with it!

I've noticed that when the computer boots up i get the message "loading Asus Express Gate" and then "Asus Express Gate installation incomplete" on the very first screen and then the computer boots up normally. I've now disabled Asus Express Gate under BIOS settings and no longer get this message. Was it ok to do this without having any effect on my MOBO? Out of curiosity why did this message appear in the first place? FYI my mobo is Asus P7P55 Deluxe.

    Cheers
    Shahid

Yeah, it is fine to disable Express Gate, I've done the same on my ASUS mobo.
