    Question Extended System Warranty

    Guys,

I've searched around but cannot find these details.

Could you please describe the details of the Extended System Warranties? - Both in the Sticky on this forum and on your website page.

As I understand it the Scan Extended Warranty is provided by Burnett & Associates, a third party Insurance Broker, but I cannot find out what it covers. Parts? Labour? Onsite? Return to Base?

Also, as I would purchase the system and warranty from Scan I would have thought that all dealings with Burnetts about cover would be conducted by Scan but I recall reading in another thread that this was not the case. Could you please clarify?

The Standard 3XS System Warranty is for 2 Years (1st Year Onsite / 2nd Year Return to Base) and covers parts and labour. Let's say that I purchase the "1 Year Scan Extended System Warranty". How does the Extended Warranty relate to the Standard one? What would I end up with?

Thank you for your help with this.

    Re: Extended System Warranty

    Hi

If you purchase a 1 year Extended system warranty it means that the 2nd year is Onsite instead of RTB as well as the first and all parts and labour are covered onsite by Burnetts

    Regards

    Ben

    Ben, thank you.

That makes it clearer. Is the Standard Warranty onsite work covered by Burnetts (and their appointed engineers) too?

And are the parts used by Burnetts "Approved by Scan" or even supplied by Scan?

    Re: Extended System Warranty

All parts used are exact matchs of the original parts where posiable, otherwise the next nearest higher spec component will be used. We are consulted and supply all parts for the onsite repairs that take place.

Thumbs up Re: Extended System Warranty

    OK,
    Thank you very much

[I asked as another System Builder did not have such good practices.]
