Thread: New PC crashing to blue screen...

    New PC crashing to blue screen...

    It's happened 3 times today so far. When I restart the comp this message popped up :

    Files that help describe the problem:
    C:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP

    Can I do anything to fix this myself or do I have to send it in for repair?

    I didn't think to copy that down as there was a lot of information on the screen and didn't know what was relevant. if it happens again I will write the info down and post it.

    you see where is say '***STOP', sorry it's near the bottom no top, note down that string and post back , also note down any file names it may mention (.dll, .sys, .exe - extenions).

    nb. this is only an example yours may look different but you should get the idea

    It didn't list any file names.

    Yea the PC is overclocked but thankfully the problem has been fixed now. All it took was a quick call to Scan and they told me to adjust the voltage in the BIOS slightly and it seems to have fixed the problem. Thank you for the great customer service as usual!
