Max safe temp for GTX 550Ti Superclock

Fired up Portal 2 last night after it completed download and let it select its settings.

Had Speedfan running too to look at the temps, had to break off to do something else but as I exited after about 5 minutes I noticed GPU temp had gone from about 42 to 50.

I've looked on EVGA's site but there is no detail, what is the max safe temp for this board.

My system just has CPU, PSU and GPU fans.

50 degrees is perfectly fine under load.

The Nvidia specifications state that the maximum temperature for the GTX 550 ti chips is 100 degrees celcius and this can be seen at the following link ;
