    MSI GTX 970 backplate

Anyone know if such a thing exists yet? Or am I going to be into fudging together a DIY one?

What makes you think you need one? The 970 reference boards are tiny, even with a full cover block I'd be amazed if they bend. That being said, 670 waterblocks fit, so backplates might also.

Call me shallow, but it's an aesthetics thing! I didn't think the MSI gtx970 used a reference PCB, so the 670 b ckplate would fit right?
