    Scan contact us broken? Problem with Zotac 1050 Ti Mini

    Hi,

    I've been trying to contact Scan support through the form on the website, but when I hit send, nothing seems to happen. In the past I'd get a confirmation both from the website and by email with a reference number. I've tried it three times now in different browsers with the same result.

    Anyway, on to the issue.

    The Zotac 1050 Ti Mini that I bought last month seems to have its fan stuck at 45%. I've tried Zotac's FIrestorm app to lower this, but it can't lower the fan speed below 45%. A key reason I bought the card was the expectation of silence at idle, and fairly quiet under load. In fact, it's semi-loud all the time.

    The room the PC is in is around 21C, and the card's reading is ~28C at idle, so it doesn't need much if any cooling.

    I've contacted Zotac, who have told me that this is "normal behaviour", and not indicated any intention update the BIOS to have the fan ramp down lower than 45% regardless of temperature.

    Can you please advise what I can do here? As it stands, the card is not suitable for the purpose I bought it.
