Help, delivery being sent back to scan tomorrow morning!

I ordered some Icemat Siberia headphones from scan on 12/04 and had them sent to my parents house in London. I then went back to Bath on the Sunday and won't be going back to London until this Friday. As far as I'm aware City Link tried to deliver on Monday 16th, Tuesday 17th and Wednesday 18th. I know that on Tuesday and Wednesday someone was in the house when they tried to deliver yet City Link still have the package. As far as I'm aware they did not ring the doorbell (the doorbell definitely works and you can hear it from anywhere in the house).

This then caused a problem because no one could stay at home for them to redeliver any other day that week and the package is in my name. My brother phoned up and asked if he could take mine and his passports along to prove he was my brother. However, he is completely useless and didn't go on Saturday (the only time any one could go to pick the package up). We have now found out that the package will be sent back to Scan tomorrow morning.

I'm hoping (and I'll understand if this can't be done) if someone from scan will see this and be able to contact City Link and ask them to hold the package until the weekend. If this isn't possible what will happen in terms of getting a refund?

It seems my dad has saved the day and has managed to pick it up. One less thing to worry about now
