To be honest i thought it would have been better to let people sign up to play as they arrived maybe even partner up with someone i found it impossible to get 4 people to agree to sign up for this event. My son would have been willing to partner up with someone to play Grid as he's not to familiar with the other 2 games.

There was still gonna be quite a few people spectating, I was going for the overclocking, but i'd be happy to game, not really bothered. I will partner up with somebody, like Victor said, good idea that.

Also, bad move cancelling it, surely people in your shop looking at the shiny hardware isn't a bad thing

    Yeah thanks for that

    Couple more:

    1. Do we know how is gonna look after the UT3 tournament? Basic rules, map pool, BO3 system maybe?
Would be nice to know before we start
    2. It's not BYOC thingy isn't it?
    3. Can I use my own keyboard/mouse?

I'm quite surprised noone is asking any questions like that!

    1. Rules like Maps and Systems is going to be posted next week as we need to get it nailed to the last detail, so there are no conflics on the day.

    2. No, there will be 3XS machines setup for everyone to play on

    3. No problems using your own keyboard/Mouse if you so wish

    Many Thanks

This may be possible still, i will see if its feasible to get a field added to the signup page to partner a "random" although we (we meaning you and us) might leave ourselfs a bit too open to be let down thus leaving the other person dissapointed.

if you get what i mean

it makes sense in my head anyway

Having said that the LN2 demo will deffinatley we worth a watch anyway, really cool stuff.

    Many Thanks

Thanks for the info Steve i agree your idea does make sense for the reasons you have given, My son and i are definitely coming i think it would be foolish to miss out on some world record attempts.. Do you think maybe its worth while to sign up as spectators to avoid confusion?

    Thanks again

Yes, as we plan to have refreshment etc on the day, so at least if people sign up we know how many are turning up for view the Overclocking etc so we know how many to cater for

    Many Thanks
