SCAN FREE shipping change

i setup a Scan free shipping account and tried ordering... is charging me shipping. Items I want are on today only special

Remember the order has to be a minimum of £20 excluding vat, delivery and Scansure - and you do need to be logged in to see any carriage discount.

I'll try answer this for you, but I could be wrong -

Scan haven't been changing AV forums postage over to hexus discounted rate as plenty of people have come here, spammed to 20 posts and then expected free carriage.

I may be wrong, but in previous cases they have not changed it to this deal.

The answer will basically be no. I believe it was put up on AV due to taking the mick with it and the amount of people that have come here from AVForum and immediately requested free shipping etc unfortunately proves SCAN right.

Was ordering 3 - 4 times a year whatever I needed from Scan, but as AVForum minimum order is now £100 for free shipping and my orders are £40-90 each....

Explains why there has been so many douchebags signing up here, spamming 20 useless posts on ancient threads then claiming free postage. I hope Scan doesn't honor them all

If you prove yourself to be a serious member of this forum over a prolonged period maybe they will consider swapping it over?

You sir are are out of line. I came here because a mate has been using Hexus for long time and said it was a good place. My first post was over 2 weeks after I joined and my post count is less then one post a day. Over 6 weeks after I join I register for free Scan posting and place a £46 order with Scan and would have to pay £9.60 post. All of you can check my join date, post count, etc. My last order from Scan was 1/6/11 and orders average over £80 each.

Requiring posts to become full privileged members forces new members to post... like must have over 100 posts before being allowed to use classifieds... and at my present rate of posting it will be mid March, maybe April before I can use classifieds

If your account on AVForums has been used for the SCAN free shipping previously, then the amount is £100 as stated above and from what I have seen previously, SCAN won't change the account free carriage from AVForums to HEXUS.

nope, my free shipping was via hexus and not avf.

been using scan for years, way before avf got free shipping granted. i use loads of forums.
