    Warranty Void if Removed

Scan have been by supplier of choice for a while now, and I'm really impressed with the level of service and price.

However one thing I'm not too keen on is the way you stick 'Warranty Void if Removed' labels on everything.

In the past few months I've built a few machines and I'm reluctant to throw the packaging away for warranty reasons.

The problem I have is that I just don’t have the space to keep all the boxes for all the components of multiple pcs.

Do I really need to keep the packaging just because it has a 'Warranty Void if Removed' label on? or will scan RMA things without original packaging so long as I have an invoice/receipt.

    Re: Warranty Void if Removed

    Hi,

You are not under any obligation to return the label despite what the sticker says, I will try and make arrangements to have the wording removed or changed to avoid confusion.

Those labels basically help us to identify which invoice a particular item belongs to so they are beneficial but not an absolute requirement. Always retain a copy of your proof of purchase.

We would always suggest trying to retain packaging if possible especially in cases where items are returned as unwanted or incompatible within the cooling off period. It's also good to use the same packaging if you ever need to return an item for warranty service as the manufactures packaging is often designed to securely house the item.

However I appreciate it may not be practical to keep every box for every item especially if you are placing lots of orders.

    Hope this helps.

    Regards
