PC Switches off after 30 Mnutes

For the past 4 weeks, my PC switches itself off every 30 minutes or so. Everything was purchased from Scan about 10 months ago

Now to resolve the problem, I have tried the following:

    • Checked Temp and all normal, around 30 degrees
    • Replaced the PSU
    • Replaced the Graphic Card
    • Swapped Ram to different slots
    • Replaced RAM altogether
    • Have tried different combination of RAM
    • Replaced the Hard Drive
    • Applied fresh thermal paste on the CPU/Heatsink
    • To check the CPU, ran the Intel Processer Diagnostic Tool. This came as PASS
    • Removed the USB 2 and 3 connecters from the motherboard, so NO USB is connected
    • Removed the RESET, HD LED, POWER connectors from the motherboard
    • Re installed Windows 8.1 many times
    • Also installed Windows 7
    • Updated the BIOS to the latest version
    • Have checked power setting and taken off Sleep, Hibernate etc

Still no luck. It just goes off. My system is:

    • ASUS B85M-E Motherboard
Intel Core i5 4430 Quad Core CPU
Corsair Memory Vengeance Pro 8GB DDR3 2133 RAM
EVGA GeForce GTX 660 SC 2GB Graphic Card
      Coolermaster B Series RS-600-ACAB-D3 600W PSU
Western Digital WD20EZRX 2TB Green SATA 3 Hard DRive
Zalman Z11 Plus High Performance Mid Tower Case

Can someone please help me get to the bottom of this?

Only item I haven't replaced is the Motherboard or CPU. DO you suspect they could be faulty?

    Chipset heatsink?

Could really be *any* component overheating, so perhaps you might know someone who has a thermal camera you could borrow.

Well you've tried quite a bit without changing the CPU and Mobo.

Does the computer shut down whilst running anything specific, like games or a graphics app or does it shut down whilst doing seemingly normal tasks and idling?

Only other things I could add would be:
    • Use the PC without a dedicated graphics card, as you've got onboard graphics with your CPU.
    • Reseat the CPU.
    • Change all your power cables, use different plug sockets and multiway adapters.
    • Disconnect devices like front USB Media slots, chassis fans (not including CPU ofc), anything that isn't necessary to boot the computer in order to see it on for an hour or until it shuts down. If no shut down reconnect things 1 by 1
    • Disconnect all drives HDD, SDD, DVD, see if it fails not in an OS

I've come across this type of power issue multiple times on different ASUS boards and that's my initial suspicion based on the amount of diagnosis you've already done.

    Best of luck!

If it properly powers down, literally "off", then its usually the PSU

Had a very similar problem with a Zalman Z11 Plus, go into the power options and set it to do nothing when the power button is pressed, I wasn't even pressing it and it was shutting off but I think a mild breeze can affect these. I haven't had any issues since

Indeed, went through two cases though and the same issue because I thought the first one had a faulty switch. Put it in a different model case and it's fine

When i had this it was a cable tie getting randomly caught in the CPU fan, thus the fan wasn't always stopped.
