I have always been a fan of Scan, especially the Today Only deals, I have picked up a few bargains over the past few months and overall I've had flawless service in the most part, but today I feel slightly cheated.
I went online this morning, ran through all the areas checking part availability, then went ahead and checked once more before placing the order at lunchtime, payment was taken almost instantly. I then get in this evening to see an email from Scan saying that the order is delayed due to stock issues, do companies not part ship orders these days and regardless of that, why did it take until 19:28 to identify a stock issue when the order was placed 7 hours earlier and everything on the website showed as 'In Stock'?
It just drives me up the wall, I planned my weekend around this build, it's not for personal use, it's for business and I left plenty of time and paid extra to get it delivered tomorrow, 5 hours before the Saturday cut-off.
The ETA for the stock is tomorrow, but I doubt Scan will be overly bothered about trying to ship tomorrow for a Sunday delivery to keep the customer happy because companies don't seem that customer centric these days.
