Hi all,
Just wondering what people's experiences are with RMAs via Scan. What's the normal time line on them returning a mobo which is in for repair?

Hi Charli,
4 - 6 weeks is the norm for these in my experience. It should be four weeks, but life always gets in the way and causes some other form of delay.

Thanks Lee. How do you guys track RMAs with ASUS. Do you get much info on where things are?
We have to ask on a per item basis unfortunately which is very time consuming for us and them. I'd be delighted if we had some sort of visible tracking service but they're not quite in the 21st century as yet unfortunately (weird, I know but thems the brakes).

Oh dear! What's the best channel for me to find out where my RMA is? When I ask via the phone I get told it's just a waiting game (which I appreciate but it'd be good to know what ASUS are up to)
It really is a waiting game. When we put the requests in for updates, the items arrive before the update does, put it that way.
With respect to Asus, they are a law unto themselves unfortunately when it comes to comms on RMA's and Repairs. It's been the same for as long as I can remember (and I've worked here almost 8yrs now) unfortunately.
If only their comms teams were as incentivised as their board designers (who get a bonus if they nail it perfect, first time) ..
As soon as we know, you'll know I'm certain!

Thanks for the info Lee. It's a shame their not available on forums like you guys are. I've had a look around but cannot see anything.
Is there any way I could get a reference number for my RMA and chase ASUS myself? Been a month now so starting to get a bit impatient.
Best bet is to chase them with the serial number of the board if you have it, otherwise just PM or post your RMA number and we'll give them a nudge for you.

Thanks Lee. RMA is 373205. Any news you could get would be hugely appreciated!
Lee. I didn't have the forethought to note the serial number but if you guys noted it before sending out then let me know.
