    Scan - shocking customer service!

So, I paid for my order to be delivered on a Saturday, pre-noon. Received nothing. Contact Scan - ignored. Contacted Scan again (twice) on the Monday morning to tell you I want a full refund, including my premium delivery charge. No response both times. Just tried again. No response and no item.

The order is now marked as "signed for" by the courier, this morning!! How exactly could this be signed for when I've been at work all day?? Is this some kind of fraud??

I don't know what's happened to Scan, as they have always been one of the better tech retailers, but this has been awful. They're holding a significant amount of my money, and refuse to answer any method of contact.

I've made FOUR separate attempts to contact Scan customer service to resolve my issues. FOUR.

Finally Scan respond! Only to tell me: "I'll have to pass you to another department, who'll contact you" at some "future" time...

Scan have finally contacted me! They are now investigating... we'll see what happens. It took 2 fresh contact attempts today for this.

Just had an update from Scan after chasing them yet again: they say that DPD (the courier) are unable to contact their depot or their own driver... so they're still "waiting to hear anything". Just great. I hope these aren't excuses.

Re: Scan - shocking customer service!

I finally, finally get my refund today and guess what? They haven't refunded the £20 delivery charge for Saturday pre-noon delivery. It's taken nearly 2 weeks to get this from them, and then they don't deliver on what they say they'll do. Time to go and spend another 2 weeks tying to get this resolved.

Seriously, for all Scan trumpet their customer service, it's one of the worst when something goes wrong.

pretty shocking that to not refund the delivery money. surprised no one responded to this thread either. only time i had something go wrong was when they sent me a used mobo instead of a new one. i phoned them and after the initial denial, they sent a new one and refunded and collected the used one.

I'll give you that, scan have been bad in the past for a few different reasons, so much so I stopped using them for a year, but coming back they seem to have really changed direction!

They seem note responsive and happy to help - I'm sorry to hear how shockingly they've acted here

Agreed, this is the reason I stopped buying from Scan 4 years ago. Was considering them again for my 1080 purchase but they seem to be leading the field in price gouging, so elsewhere it is.

They can be bad sometimes. E.g. Trying to RMA something with them is like dealing with the Spanish Inquisition.

I've also had a item from them that was sold as new, but had clearly been opened and used!
