    Scan Free Shipping

    I've been an Hexus user for some time now, and just registered an account at Scan for a new build I'm ordering tomorrow.

    I've followed the instructions to sync my Hexus and Scan accounts together, but it doesn't seem to work. Keeps qouting user doesn't exist? Any help?

    Your join date is 2014, is there any chance that you have changed e-mail address since and have entered a different one for Scan?

    None of my details has changed, followed the instructions to the letter and getting a message saying: Your HEXUS account is not found - please check your details and try again.

    Sorry for the delay in replying - I was on holiday

    After checking, the free delivery was already activated on an account with an outlook.com email address. As its a 1 time activation with a unique key, it will not activate again onto another account.

    I'm checking with the CS team now to see if there is any way to get this sorted out and once I've had any updates I'll let you know.

    Your online account should be sorted out now online and the carriage discount should apply once the ex VAT figure goes past the £20 threshold.

    I'm in a similar boat to OP but I've been a Scan customer for years. I want to get the free delivery activated on my account but keep getting an error saying "Your HEXUS account is not found - please check your details and try again" .

    Is there any way this can be added to my Scan account? Both my Hexus and Scan are registered to the same email address.

    Thanks for reminding me to sort my SCAN account out.!

    Although I notice that my PC purchases aren't in my history. I assume this is because I ordered over the phone with SCAN engineer who'd helped with my spec.

    You need to have made at least 20 posts as well to qualify for the Free Carriage activation.

    I'm having my own problems with associating my accounts.

    I get the error message:

    Your scan account has already has a free carriage association.

    Which is indeed true. Its associated with my avforums account. But as avforums requires a minimum spend of £50 and Hexus a minimum spend of £20 I would prefer to switch it to Hexus forums membership association. My next purchase is likely to be a PSU but recently I've been looking for a few at £49.99 so it would be handy to avoid the postage.

    Ideally, I'd like to get this sorted by next Friday as I suspect I'll order on Black Friday - ie leave it until then and if there isn't a really good deal then I'll just buy one anyway. I've been looking for a month and don't want to wait until January sales.

    More confused than ever, but anyway, despite you saying that this doesn't work it seems to have worked. I got a message to say account associated and when I login to scan it claims to be associated to hexus and offering me free shipping on orders over £20.

    Whether you fixed it, it fixed itself, or it broke, I don't suppose it matters to me as long as it allows me to order and get free shipping.
