    Scan's Warranty Details?

    I've been looking at two ASUS Monitors which are Asus VS248HR & Asus VC239H and I was looking at the Scan Warranty section at the bottom which I'm having trouble understanding. It has 3 years warranty on both Monitors but the Asus VC239H said "Type: Direct" and the Asus VS248HR said "Type: Return to base" and I don't understand that, does it mean the Monitor goes back to ASUS's Base? or Scan's Base? also does that mean Scan provides the 3 Years warranty? or do I have to deal with ASUS trouble RMAs?

    Asus will provide a 3 year warranty directly, they will arrange to collect the item and either provide repair or on-site replaecment depending on the age/model.

    I would like to ask another question about the ASUS VC239H, why does it have a DOA Period of 7 days? does this Monitor have a high rate of DOAs?

    Whilst we dont release sales figures and stats specifically, I can assure you the return rate on this model is extremely low.
