PVR 500 will not tune to BBC1,BBC2 or ITV on MCE2005

    Hi,
I have a PVR-500 running on MCE2005. I have installed the Nvidia platinum DVD codec, MCE drivers for PVR-500.
The thing is I cannot get it to tune into BBC 1 and 2 or ITV. It works fine with Channel 4 & 5. The thing is the signal I am using was plugged into a previous PVR-350 and a Sony 14" portable and all channels had a perfect signal/picture, so why can't a get the other 3 channels?

I have been through the setup over five times and its set to UK and antenna.

    BTW Hardware setup

    Hauppauge PVR-500
    Windows MCE 2005
Tried Nvidia MCE GFX 71.84 and XP 71.89's
    Asus A8N sli deluxe
    CPU 3000 939
    512 corsair value select
    GFX 6600gt XFX PIC-e
    Tagen 480 PSu
    Pioneer 109 DVD-RW
    Aopen Chameleon DVD-ROM
    Seagate 40gig Sata System Drive
Maxtor Diamondmax 10 sata 200gig Storage
    Sony 3.5 Floppy

    Cheers

    EDIT:

I have tried another PVR-500 and the other two remaining PCI slots and also the 71.89 nvidia drivers.

    Still no luck

Have you tried selecting a different transmitter?

I had a similar problem where my TV software was simply selecting the first transmitter it came across, rather than the one with the strongest signal.

    for info on transmitter locations:

    hope that helps!
