    Price drop for Opterons

    hi,

I've noticed that the Opteron 146 has gone up in price overnight to £140.

I was wondering if anyone at Scan can/is allowed to say if there will be a price drop on Opterons on monday as the AMD price drops should come into force then.

Is your price in anticipation of AMD processor cuts or will it change next week?

Would be great if you could tell us because i'd love to order from scan rather than another supplier.

Unfortunately we will only find out about pricing when and if it changes, as sales do not get advanced information of these things.

Valid question...already answered I know.. but Scan were the cheapest now both Komplett & Overclockers are cheaper.
Would have preferred to order from Scan (as would a lot of other folk)..

Glad I got my order in for 2 a couple days ago.. was significantly cheaper then

knowing my luck, they'll prolly re-adjust the prices on monday in accordance with AMD's price cuts, leaving me paying more..

eta date is 1/11/05 and monday is 31/10/05, therefore if there is a price drop <£103.64 (highly unlikely like) then u can cancel the order and reorder.

Yep saw that, I was wondering more about when / if Scan will drop their price in line with this, and also when they can expect stock. Most others retailers have the 146 at £111ish.

Yep, seems Scan are the most expensive for this CPU at the moment by about £30. CPU is now around the £111 mark on near enough every other major site.

When are Scan going to lower their price in line with all other sites? (or are they taking advantage of the demand... tut tut )
