Saturday delivery issue

Ok I have to say I am not having any luck whenever I order from Scan. On this occasion I specifcally order Saturday Delivery, because and this might have been a bit mad of me, I wanted it delivered on Saturday. When I would be in. However when I look on the wonderful city link website its on for delivery on friday, one day early true but of no use to me as I am not in. The best bit is according to the tracking website it has been succesfully delivered, well it isn't blinkin here. I even called Scan this morning to confirm the Saturday delivery. Now I don't know if this is Scan not telling the courier the correct delivery day and pocketing the extra cash for sat delivery or City link delivering whenever they want to, but I am not happy chap again.
So I can't comment on Scan's excellent service as it isnt for me, I can say that there phone support get you through to someone unlike other web retailers, but I would rather have not had to call anyone in the first place and I now have to call again tommorow to work out where this package is.

I think city link presume (incorrectly) that you'd want it as soon as - the saturday delivery only really means that they can deliver on a saturday, not that they will if they can before hand. Try and rearrange for sat and see what they say...

Oh I'de love to have it redelivered, however according to the tracker it has been, I just dont have it. And as to them delivering it when they want but can also deliver on Saturday, not really as they have lots of delivery options these being next working day before 10am beofre 12 before 7:30 in major cities etc. and also for deliveries on Saturday before 12. no one would pay the extra money mid week for sat delivery if they deliver it on a friday instead.

Just phone the delivery company up, its quicker and easier to deal direct than going throughthe company sending the goods. In most cases they will deliver the following day after a failed attempt, and as you specified saturday you might get it tomorrow. As to the incorrect tracking info somebody might have pushed the wrong button, pone them to find out.

Oh this just gets better and better, having called citylink apparently Scan have issued a recall order so my package hasn;t been delivered i's been sent back to scan. So Im kinda guessing no delivery to Me today (Saturday) and quite likely no delivery till next weekend now. I also don't accept this as being the couriers fault. I don't place my contract with the courier, Scan do hence courier becomes the customer faceing arm of Scan and Scan should be responsible for them.

Wohoo order has turned up, muppets at citylink told me it was recalled but it was resent in transit to be delivered on Saturday as I first requested. I know I am probably the first person to complain over an early delivery but if you offer Saturday delivery seems silly to send these out for delivery friday. and it was only because i called on Scan on friday that the order was resent otherwise i would have had to wait till monday for redelivery
