    Hi

All the media such as drivers and that will come with the system, and I've just been informed by Ben from the system support team that the system will also come with the newly designed 3XS windows recovery CD which is a slipstreamed windows CD with all the relevant drivers and updates already applied.

Please note - theres no need to panic, you will still get the windows CD media as well, this recovery disc is a new addition to the system support to aid customers who are not so technologically savvy to install and have everything up & running without hunting the latest drivers.

    Best Regards,

While we've got A 3XS systems topic, I was wondering if the Cubit's are going to be avaliable with AMD Power? I can only see Intels and wouldn't mind a Cubit system.

heh yea there are a few plans in the making at the moment but these are unconfirmed.

Hmm it WOULD be real nice with an FX-60 but im quite sure that the system wouldnt be able to withstand the heat that this would produce as you can only fit smaller heatsink/fan in there.

IIRC we had the same problem cept for an Intel Extreme CPU but these are well known for being a tad warm

Yeah part of me knew that, but then again you do see FX-60's in shuttles.

What sort of specs would be offered then?

Hard to say until we can check the boards really.. i'd imagine something similar to the Intel systems perhaps.
