| Flat cap, Whippets, Cave. | RMA Question Hi, I bought an XFX 7900gtx oem graphics card and it was delivered on friday, unfortunately, it is showing all the signs of the "bad batch" of 7900 series cards, including corrupted/pixelated/big black patches on the desktop, underclocking itself, corrupted textures in some games, lots of artifatcs, and the inability to run 3dmark06 without dying a death (bsod/complete lockup etc). temps are fine, the pc is 100% prime stable, i have even dropped the cpu down to stock clocks to see if that made any difference. after a lot of reading last night, it seems that a lot of people are having the same isssues with the 7900gtx from a number of different manufacturers and only evga have alledgedly fixed the issue with the release of some new model numbers of cards that have a new voltage regulator fitted. so, i was wondering, if someone could contact XFX for me today and see what they are actually doing about it (if anything), and if i will have to go through the long RMA process even though i have had the card for less than 24 hours before it went faulty. thanks Dave |

| If you ring XFX with the part number they will check with there database to see if infact it is from a faulty batch, if it is then they will authorise it to be returned for a different card, but again you would need to ring XFX for this .. Hope that helps .. Regards |
