    Could you check this RMA query please?

    Posted this in another thread, best having it's own...

    Could anyone respond to my returns query? I replied to the guy who asked for the exact problem so he could issue an RMA, though it seems to be taking a fair while just to give me an RMA number. Apologies if it's a busy time for you but my PC is out of action while I wait on this. Time is money

    My query number is OLQ431569 if that helps. As I said in my email, basically my PC will not boot at all if the graphics card is in the board but does so fine when it isn't. Through a process of elimination it's definitely the card which is dead.

    A quick response is very much appreciated.

    Lee, thanks for testing my graphics card so quickly. I'm impressed with how quick it got there and the speed at which you got round to trying it I must admit I never smelt a burn but the other symptoms you described are bang on.

    Fingers crossed the next stage doesn't take a whole lot longer

    Could you give me an update on what is currently happening with this? It tested faulty on Thursday and wondered if you're just deciding what to do next or whether you've sent it to XFX or whatever... It would be nice to know roughly how long i'll be without my PC

    I've heard so many horror stories about XFX's returns and support departments that I will be praying I get lucky! I appreciate any response.

    Any further update to this RMA? I was told I would get it shipped out to me by Wednesday at the latest so I expect it should be sorted soon? I'm not sure if you need my number again but it begins with 1480**, tested by Lee and is for the XFX 7800 GTX 512 XXX if that helps.

    I can confirm your card is back with XFX, we are just waiting to see if they have a replacement they can provide for you or if they are going to issue a market value refund for you.

    Is this in the same state as on the 21st Wes? XFX are slow and it's becoming very frustrating for me now.

    Can someone please sort this out for me in the morning? It's been 4 weeks since you received the card and I'm not sure if it's XFX taking the mick here having had it so long or that you've just forgot to reply to me with 'their decision' but I've been without a half decent gaming machine, (the machine full stop really as I don't have another card to slot in temporarily) for well over a month now which isn't really acceptable.

    It's unlikely that I will get chance to see any email or reply to this until I finish work tomorrow afternoon but please can you put this high on your priority list. I'm not putting the blame on anyone in particular but I feel that a month is more than enough time to expect to have got something sorted for me one way or another.
