    ChoicesUK Going Into Administration

ChoicesUK has called in the administrators. They're blaming "piracy". I'd blame rising costs of living in the UK ahead of piracy, personally, but hey.

Thought it was worth mentioning as they may have some odd prices on their website in future - some risky bargains, perhaps.

They are expensive anyway so its no loss.
    £39.99 fot UT3
    £29.99 for Quakewars.

Just a couple of examples why they are probably going bust.....they arent competing.

I got Resident Evil 4 on Wii delivered the day after release for £22.99 - the cheapest price out there. They've had occasional bargains.

Very surprising as when they do have bargains they are great i.e. a month ago

    Point blank on DS and
Bomberman Land Touch on DS both for £10 each.

Also seems like their rebranding from choices direct didn't work!

    Woohoo now Assistant Manager!

That's a real shame - usually very good prices and really rapid delivery. They also offered really decent trade in prices on the high street provided you exchanged for credit in store not cash.

Alias boxed sets (new!) from £10 each the other month, which I thought was a bit of a bargain

I don't think choicesuk will go bust. They have ultra cheap prices (some better then their competitors), but they take AGES for delivery (2 weeks!!)

I blame high prices. Who wants to pay £3.75 for a "Top Title" DVD for 3 nights"?

Put the prices down to £2 for 2 nights and I might visit more often.
