Suggest a good mousemat I can buy

Could do with a mousemat as my desk is looking a bit worse for the wear. Don't need a gaming surface just a fairly large mousemat to use with my Logitech MX Revolution. Any suggestions or websites to look at?

No more than £20 I'd say if possible.

    Hey Marc,

I like my Icemat for my MX Revo.

Technically a gaming pad I guess, but I don't use it for gaming at all - I just like the consistent, smooth movement of a mouse when on a solid surface... such as glass.

It doesn't look like you can get one for less than around £25 with delivery though.

Still though - you won't ever replace it - it's not like it will wear out - so you might as well spend a bit extra on this sort of thing if it means you can get a better one.

You could get a razer exactmat, very nice and very good in terms of resistance and useability. It isnt that large though, medium size in my opinion.

    Look at my ratings

Hi Gav. Thanks for the suggestion. Will look it up. If I won't ever have to replace it I think I can justify another £5 or so.

How large is medium then? Haven't used mousemats in years so medium could be big enough for me. How much would I be looking at then?

    It measures 265mmx330mm, only costs £15 from play.com http://www.play.com/PC/PCs/4-/688248...t/Product.html

Two sided so if you want little/no resistance then use the "speed side" or is you want more resistance for say sniping then use the "control" side.

+1 for the Razer Exactmat - it's double sided with one side smooth for speed and the other side slightly textured for control supposedly.

Lol. I set my mouse to crazy speeds, then I can be lazy and control the pointer with minute hand movements!
