Windows 7 ultimate - best price?

Anyone found a better price than this:

    http://www.cclonline.com/product-inf...&tid=7gc-00001

£164.94 incl VAT & cheapest delivery option

    beats 169.98 @ amazon.co.uk

Honestly, there isn't a reason to buy Windows 7 Ultimate edtion at all. Unless you need the language support and BitLocker. Which I don't think many people do.

Save your money and buy either Windows 7 Professional or Windows 7 Home Premium.

Thanks, but I'm fully aware of the version differences and there are some users who need language support including myself.

So, best price for a retail copy of win 7 ultimate edition?

EDIT: Not to be picky but now the initial pre order price is unavailable there is not much cost difference between ultimate and professional anyway

There was some guy advertising Windows 7 Ultimate on Gumtree Glasgow for £40 today so you could contact him maybe and ask if he'd ship. Claims to be an employee of microsoft but fairly obviously something isn't right with it but still if you're that desparate try gumtree. I won't provide a link as it's suspicious.

    It's dodgy

Staff policy says you can't sell discounted software that you have bought on (for profit, only as a gift/charity donation) and it's not available to employees yet (I know as I was hoping to get it before I leave MS)

It will be the dodgy one with the dodgy OEM key that has already been blacklisted

It's not probably, no UK employee at MS has a legit personal licence they can sell, it's a sackable offence to do what I said previously (and they do fire people for it), and if it's an MSDN licence it breaks the subscription contract as it is for personal use only

There is also no Glasgow MS Office

Will make a note of this. However by the time I am able to order this may have changed. I have RC1 in the meantime...

    That's OEM, not full retail.
