| Re: Windows 7 ultimate - best price? Honestly, there isn't a reason to buy Windows 7 Ultimate edtion at all. Unless you need the language support and BitLocker. Which I don't think many people do. Save your money and buy either Windows 7 Professional or Windows 7 Home Premium. | Re: Windows 7 ultimate - best price? Thanks, but I'm fully aware of the version differences and there are some users who need language support including myself. So, best price for a retail copy of win 7 ultimate edition? EDIT: Not to be picky but now the initial pre order price is unavailable there is not much cost difference between ultimate and professional anyway |

| Re: Windows 7 ultimate - best price? There was some guy advertising Windows 7 Ultimate on Gumtree Glasgow for £40 today so you could contact him maybe and ask if he'd ship. Claims to be an employee of microsoft but fairly obviously something isn't right with it but still if you're that desparate try gumtree. I won't provide a link as it's suspicious. |
