| Basically I ordered two items from Amazon, one a laptop adaptor and another headphones, the laptop adaptor never turned up, royal fail posted a card saying they couldnt deliver it and now the item seems to have disappeared into oblivion, my dads spent the last 7 days chasing after it and each royal fail telling a different thing, and as for the headphones they havent arrived yet either, so i logged into amazon today to contact the seller of the laptop adaptor, but both of the items have disappeared from the order history! theres no sign of there existence, anyone know whats up or what to do? This was the first time i used amazon and not very impressed. ![]() Thanks |

| Re: problem with amazon and royal fail Yeah I would ring them up, always found them to be flawless with their CS. When I bought my Creative T40s, IIRC the adapter made a bit of a buzzing noise. They immediately sent out a replacement, and collected the dodgy ones next day. Job done . | Re: problem with amazon and royal fail Yup, definitely give them a bell. I bought a scanner a few months back and had delivery probs with City Link. I called and spoke to the Cust service dept several times and they helped to find out what was happening at City link's end (I also spoke to city link too). Amazon sent a replacement unit, but I then received the original scanner. In your case, it sounds like Royal Mail are the ones to blame here and over the past couple of months they've really got on my with their daily strikes. | Re: problem with amazon and royal fail Better yet, if you or your dad bought it with a credit card call your credit card provider and let them do all the leg work for you. There's a whole bunch of legislations about this sort of thing and the credit card company should most definitely refund you and you'll have a lot less hassle dealing with CS, though a courtesy call notifying Amazone won't go amiss. Have to say though so far my experience with Amazone has always been excellent. Touch wood. |
