Play.com problems?

Has anyone had problems from Play.com recently?

I ordered a DVD on Tuesday and they've only just sent it today, the price was a penny cheaper than Asda and in the past Play have been really good at posting quickly...

5 days is a little pants, not like it's CD Wow...even they post the same day from Hong Kong

I know they had problems earlier in the week...

Havent shopped recently. I guess they had stock issues - in which case they should have informed you.

I ordered BAttle for middle earth 2 about 2~3 months ago. After two months in packin state I gave them a call to find out what was going on. Was informed game was delayed by a month due to stock issues but had been posted almost a month ago. Was told only option was refund.

Its the only item I've ever had go missing in the post and oddly the game is now almost 3 times the price I ordered it at (all through play.com - NOT playtrade).

It's a shame as it's the first time I've used them since 2008...and probably the last time in a while.....

i ordered headphones and a CD (seperate orders) and got them both within 3 days. I think maybe you were just unlucky.

Perhaps they were holding it until the postal strikes had ended so that you'd actually receive what you ordered

I heard Play.com were in the news about having messed up loads of orders. Luckily, I got my order of Windows 7 before this farce.

I have found them a bit slower recently and price wise they seem to be being overtaken.
