I thought that refurbished units would be a case of packing it up and shipping it after payment has been received (2-3 days), but the ETA I am provided is almost 2.5 weeks from when I played the order! Gutted because the order was for a trip next week (figured seven working days would've been ample).
Bizarre... they given a reason for it?
None. They only just put a warning that it would take up to 10 working days after payment is cleared on their website yesterday. However, fund wasn't taken out for a whole week and during that time, I couldn't track my order and had no idea what was going on (hence the whole process is going to take 2.5 weeks for me). Worse yet, they have a "can't change delivery address after the order is placed" policy, which means that I won't be able to have it shipped to Aberdeen.
Every computer I've ordered off Dell outlet and CTO had taken weeks to arrive, had to wait a month on two occasions. Sometimes it arrives before the ETA but only by a few days.
Darn. No point postponing my trip by a few days hoping it'll arrive early then.
