I shall try and chase this one up for you all
I kind of feel a bit stupid, i noticed one of my fans was slightly defomred from screwing in, have reshaped it and have yet to notice the noise (3 days) so it could have been that, however my machine hasnt been on as much as it is usually either.
I was wrong, its still doing it, so bump
bumpitty bump again.
Is there any resolution of this on the horizon?? If not, what about an RMA? It's still making lots of clickiness, and I'm not sure I trust it in my PC.
Dear all,
The ticking noise that has been reported is not a fault with the Tagan power supply units, however it is caused by the instability of the AC input from the National Grid. The AC through the plug sockets at times could be providing 245 volts during the day and 235 volts during the evening and. This fluctuating has an effect on PC power supplies, causing them to create the noise that has been encountered.
Our technical team has researched into this issue in an attempt to resolve this problem once for all. From the research it is discovered that the fluctuation in AC input is most severe in the UK in comparison to the rest of the European countries. For this reason it became clear why there has been minor reports of this issues from the rest of Europe.
We would like to make it clear that this issue is not only found on the Tagan PSUs, but the other manufacturers also face the same problem. We believe we are close to finding a solution to this issue and we are carrying out various experimental tests.

A friend and I have had two hiper power psu's do the same thing a fairly long time ago so they are probably onto something with our voltages here! They never failed so I wouldn't be too worried yet.
