Hello, I have a problem with NF-M2 Nview

Hello to everybody I hope one of you good souls could help me with my little problem of my board (NF-M2 Nview) not booting up in dual channel mode.
I bought a pair of OCZ DDR2 PC2-6400 Platinum Revision 2 Dual Channel (2x 1GB) and when I install them in [DIMM1] + [DIMM2] slots or [DIMM3] + [DIMM4] the system will not boot. When I install them into [DIMM1] + [DIMM3] or [DIMM2] + [DIMM4] it will but obviously I want the system to run in dual channel mode but I've no idea what else to do or to try. Would it be likely that there is a fault with the board and that I will have to return it or could the problem lay with the ram?
Any help will be greatly appreciated, thanks Andy.

Usual layout for dual channel mode is to use 1+3 or 2+4.

They should be different colours, you should put the pairs in the same coloured slots.

i.e. on my BadAxe Intel board its slot 1 and 3, blue slots, rather than the black slots which are 2 + 4.

    Matt.

Sorted. System now works in dual channel mode.

Basically the problem was that the system would only boot with one stick of ram (lets call this stick1). If I tried to boot with the other stick on its own (stick2) I would keep getting the 'bios checksum error' and the only way I could get XP to load with stick2 was to press F1 after clearing the cmos.

    Now the solution.

    What I done was:
    1) I cleared the cmos by using jumper and also removing battery and atx power connector for 5 minutes.

    2) I put stick1 into [DIMM1] (blue coloured slot)

    3) Entered bios and manually set voltage (2.1v) and timings (4-4-4-15)

    4) F10 save & exit > XP boots

    5) Shutdown PC

    6) Take stick1 out of [DIMM1] and place into [DIMM2] (also coloured blue)

    7) Place stick2 into [DIMM1]

    8) Power on system, to my surprise the monitor powers itself on and the system loads up XP! Horrah!! Run CPUz the memory tab confirms system is running in dual channel mode. Restart to make sure everything is OK and the system boot again flawlessly.

I hope this info will be of benefit to anyone who was having similar problems and is convinced that they have bad ram or a bad motherboard, like I did!
