Random Restarting Problem - need help

Hi, been having this problem since about christmas time now and have done just about everything to try and figure out what is causing it.

Problem is that my system decides to totally reboot, and it has been happening in a couple of instances, playing games basicly all of them, watching movies on pc and finally when updating or doing any heavy tasks in antivir program.

What i have done so far to track down the cause is a very large list so here goes:

Changed the video card, ram, even had my motherboard replaced by scan still got the issue, ive also replaced the psu.
I have unplugged my reset button on case to check if it is that still no diffrent.

I have ran tons of benchmarks and tests to find problem including mem test, and burn in tests etc.

Only thing i havent tried changing is the cpu.

So any advice/knowledge will be very greafully took on because im now stuck.

    thx Cozwin.

What was the original psu and what did you replace it with?

What is the rest of the system?

Do you have another psu that you can try?

Also, did you install any updated chipset drivers? Updated the bios?

Was it a fresh install of windows?

Sounds like it might be a Windows problem - bad driver or some corruption. How does the system run in Safe Mode?

    Anything overheating?

    Any SMART errors?

    I suspect the PSU still.

Well mate you've replaced PSU, Graphics, Memory and Mobo. That leaves CPU and Windows, or some other piece of kit you haven't told us about.

CPU seems unlikely, but which "burn-in" tests have you tried? Do these include 3DMarks?

Windows, the only way to be sure is a clean install with default drivers.

Do you have anything else plugged in? Have you played with the BIOS? What is the mobo?

What speed have you got the ram set to as well? Have you manually entered the timings and subtimings?

Check the PSU to mobo connector, wiggle it about with the PC switched on and see if the mobo reacts.

ok ive done 3 clean reinstalls of windows so i dont believe its that, also psu it definetly isnt as ive changed it before to see if it was that.

Also i tried to do a crash log on windows but it didnt log it so i believe it to be a hardware problem.

Ram speeds are deafult and i reset the timings etc still same problem.
