    Grr @ Overclockers.co.uk

Ordered a graphics card late thursday night/early friday morning. Paid extra for first class delivery.

By 09:00 on friday morning I had an email saying it'd been packed and shipped.

    Still bloomin' waiting for it.

Their forum blocks gmail addresses from signing up, and their supports notes ain't working. I'm less than impressed.

If it's not here tomorrow I'll be on the ringer. If you work at overclockers, i'd avoid the phone tomorrow if i were you, I don't appreciate paying extra for quick delivery then being made to wait for it. Grr @ them again.

There is no point in posting to their forums, they will delete your post and ban your account in nothing flat. The only way you are likely to get anything out of them, is to send them an email. If that does not get you anywhere, I would cancel the order with your credit card company, and re-order from a reputable supplier.

Yup OCUK suck, ordered an Opty 144 a few weeks ago and like you paid extra for next day delivery, took 2 effing weeks to arrive !

Also just placed another order with them (only 'cos their prices were so cheap) and my 2x512mb of Crucial Value RAM was missing, phoned them up and the chap said "oh yeah they aren't in stock atm, we'll give you a refund".. gg thanks for letting me order them ?!

OcUK are responsible for choosing their own couriers, and the contract for next day delivery is between the OP and OcUK. If OcUK cannot get a reliable courier service they shouldn't advertise next-day delivery.

    I agree...

but RM first class isn't guaranteed next day... the op should have chose Special delivery or courier.... then he has a right to have a moan, on this occasion, I don’t see how this is OCUK's fault???

Both of my recent ocuk deliveries were timely..even called to change one to next day and it was there next day.

I know you think theres a huge percentage of dissapointed customers but there really isn't. I consider them one of the better shops in the UK.

Scan have thier problems..as do ebuyer..deffinatly dabs.. it's luck of the draw.

Scan are very apologetic in their forums..and give us free delivery which is nice but they are no better imo.

First class isn't guaranteed next day, but it shouldn't take more than two days, which is has so far. especially when it was apparently packed and posted before 9am on friday.

My main gripe was with their uncontactableness really.

I'm one of the lucky ones in that I've never had bother with OCUK, eBuyer, Aria or anyone else for that matter. It's just a pain in the arse when something does go wonky, or there's something i'm not sure about, and the company are uncontactable.

They happily sent the invoice to my gmail account. I'd love to know what sensible reason they have for not allowing me to use it to sign up for their forums.

It's always good when the support ticket system ain't working as well, it really instils faith...

From reading around here, i was in the belief that getting stuff off them wasn't the problem, it was RMAing it when it turned out to be buggered. For the price, i was happy to take my chances of that, but it's a pain in the arse to be waiting for something that I could've gotten off ebay or one of the other shops doing the Google offer right now, for the same price.

I've read more about ebuyer than about OCUK, but I still bought from them, because the price is right, and it's over an hour travelling to a half-decent meatspace shop.
