    2900XT coming soon

Saw this on overclockers, not much help to anyone tho:

    http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...odid=GX-074-HT

Looks like it should be better than the 8800GTS, the figures on paper say it should be anyway (more streams, larger memory interface etc.):

All i was saying was that the 2900XT should be better than an 8800GTS cos its stats say it should be. Benchmarks may not follow for a variety of reasons (drivers, architectures etc.)

there is already another thread circulating bout this.... the end of the day noone really knows whats going to happen. I cant see ATI actually lying down and accepting defeat, any other sources for that information?

It's only a few days now hopefully so we shall see..

I'm assuming the xt will be very similar to the gts..as long as its fairly priced i.e cheaper than the gts, it should do fine

well I really couldn't be bothered to read that review it's too late for all that lol.. it looks ok but not amazing.

Typical ATi..power hungry and makes your case into a sauna..

Even if the drivers improve it further..I won't be selling my GTS anytime soon.

Read the review and it seems on par with the 640mb gts so I dont think Ill be selling anytime soon, BUT the overclocking potetional looks huge.
