    Ninja Nick Now kNows Naruto...

By moving away from the traditional blood & guts slice fest that you'd expect from a game that's based on a demon-possesed Ninja, Ubisoft are applying a fresh coat of Kabuki face paint and offering us a new angle on the traditional hero

I just got the two PS2 games for my birthday. Frankly a solid 8/10+ Naruto game for the 360 would be one of the things that would get me to upgrade to that rather than the PS3.

    Right - ordered.

If it's not like the cartoon I shall come and make you eat the game, with a side salad and a chocolate milkshake

Some of the video makes it look better as the 360 doesn't have the budgetry contraints of using real animators for each frame. Though that might be me getting really excited.

    Hi All,

    Thanks for the positive feedback

We are slowly, but surely, ramping up our content levels...

...so any insight into what you like/hate is really valuable

Guy watched the DEFCON video the other day and came straight on to me to say that he bought it online immediately

Can't promise all games will look amazing...

...but if you have fave-rave ways of us presenting stuff - then please let us now

(I also had the HEXUS forums on speed dial just in case )

The clever thing is the way the style has been translated into a 3D world. You know how a flat, 2D cartoon image has a black line around it?

Naruto: Rise of the Ninja is the same with that black line, but you can scroll around in full 3D and it still retains that cartoon outline, moving it as your viewing angle on the game changes.

Ok, so that doesn't sound like anything particularly amazing but seriously, when you see it in action it really is like seeing the cartoon come to life in full 3D...
