    Nutters on ebay?

    Well I don't get it:-

Abit AN7 (nVidia nForce II 400 Ultra) + ATHLON XP 3200+.. socket a

This motherboard has been used, comes with attached ATHLON XP 3200+ processor (using a retail heatsink) has never been overclocked and everything seems to work fine except for the fan on the BIOS chip doesnt go round but that has never caused me any problems.

    Winning bid £72.36 + postage £3.99

    From Scan all new:-

    Gigabyte GA M6...AM2...£34

    AMD AM2 Sempron 3200 retail...£19

Total £53...if you add 1gig of ram at £19 it still comes less with free postage.

You get idiots that think eBay is the only place in the whole world that sells things cheaply, so people don't bother looking elsewhere.

....................the only bargains I've ever got is from stuff that nobody else wanted, or bidders were all asleep or on holiday.

    Re: Nutters on ebay?

I gave up on looking for genuine 2nd-hand bargains on eBay several years ago.

IMO eBay is only really useful to get access to dodgy-but-very-cheap sellers in the Far East (I'll admit to having bought a couple of spare camera batteries off them that haven't exploded yet .)
