But will it work with both chipsets? (Falcon and whatever the old one was called)

it varys as to what problem you have...

RROD is 3 years

no vid out is 3 years

but most other stuff is 1 year

But 3 years is the max? I got my 360 in the first batch so I'm almost at the end of the 3 years anyway, I might give this a go.
