The Federal Trade Commision, the US anti-monopoly branch of the Federal government. Since the US is rediculously soft on anti-competitive behaviour, they basically stamp APPROVED on practically everything.

I can't say I much like EA but as long as they have NO involvement or inflence with it's development then it's not too bad. My main concerns would be pushing for the series down to a 15+ certificate in order to increase sales (and reduce controversy). Also trying to push out games more frequently.
If EA ruin GTA I'll just have to go on a real crime spree instead
Isn't most big business going this way? The same few companies controlling everything in their particular field? I hoped this wouldn't happen.

How can they not see a monopoly in this? Ea own pretty much everything and normally when a big company like Ea get a hand on a great developer they ruin their games, look what happened to bungie with halo series as soon as the first one was amazing microsoft bought them and pumped out the other 2 being crapper than the first, as soon as they finished halo they were pushed aside. Now EA did similar with westwood iirc, the old ones were the best now they kept going downhill (excluding c&c 3, that seems to have improved). Why cant EA just give up already, take two said no last time and it increased its shares lol so i dont think they would want to accept.

Oh dear.... its a sad day when news reches us that EA are starting to succeed in taking over take two. This is NOT good, is there nothing we can do to stop it?

I try to avoid it...
EA in general are wrong in so many ways and the thought of them buying out another company/part of one to rebadge it like its their own games (yet again) makes me sick... EA+GTA makes me disgusted!
just picture it guys... gta watered down and censored... no thanks i'd prefer to vote for a bully sequel than sacrafice a legendary series
