A lot more of my mates own BlackBerry's than iPhones or any other type of phone. Out of my close circle of mates, I'm the only one not to own a BlackBerry of some form.
That's also another thing people like, choice, and you don't get that with the iPhone. You get the 1 phone and only in black.
I wonder what results they would have got had they ask what OS would you want your next smartphone to run?
I bet Android would have scored just as high as iOS...
I am also surprised by Blackberry but then my views are biased as I have a blackberry for work and whenever I see one, it reminds me on work!
Yet more evidence of the dumbing down of our Universities.
No wonder students don't like like tuition fees increases if they're all out buying iPhones.
I made it through 4 years of university without a phone we just planned better.

I too rember the good old days when mobiles was not as common, people actually met up and showed up on time
Personally I think its all about the image. Blackberrys were cool but is no more.
Now is the era of smart phone with large touch screens for social websites and games.
I never had a mobile phone in university. In fact, it was deemed to be like a cool gadget to have a mobile.
It's interesting to think back at how we organised we were before when people couldn't contact us.
However, I did remember waiting for like an hour for my friends to arrive in the car as it wasn't as convenient as calling them up now on the mobile.
